Self-Catering Orkney Terms And Conditions

1. Check-in time is from 3.00pm. (Earlier may be possible)
2. Check-out time is 10.00am - the hirer must undertake to vacate the property by the time stated, unless otherwise agreed, to allow time to prepare for new arrivals.
3. We would appreciate if you could leave the accommodation clean and tidy as you found it at the end of your stay, otherwise a cleaning charge may be incurred.
4. The hirer shall be responsible for any damages or breakages to the property, furnishings etc. All damages must be reported and paid for prior to departure.
5. We require a non-refundable deposit of £200 per week to reserve your booking with us. The full balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
6. Payment can be made by cheque, PayPal (Cash add) or bank transfer - sorry but we do not accept credit cards.
7. With the recent increase in electricity prices, we kindly ask our guests to be mindful of their energy consumption during their stay. While we strive to include normal electricity usage in our rates, excessive usage may result in an additional charge. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us manage energy responsibly
8. All coordinated bed linen, large bath towels, hand towels, dish towels and cloths are included in the hire.
9. On receiving the deposit, you enter into a legal agreement and are bound to abide by the conditions of hire.
10. To ensure a full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) you must cancel your reservation at least five weeks prior to the arrival date. We strongly recommend holiday/cancellation insurance.
11. Your vehicle and personal belongings are left at your own risk.
12. Although we endeavor to honor all bookings, we reserve the right to cancel should the property sustain damage or otherwise become unsuitable to accommodate your holiday. In such an event, we will refund any money paid in full. Any additional costs you may incur will be a matter of your holiday insurance arrangements.
13. All prices are inclusive of V.A.T, we reserve the right to amend the prices accordantly.
14. The payee shall pay any fees that occur through payments from the bank or currency transfer.
15. Sorry, but we don't accept pets and have a no-smoking policy in all our properties.
16. Newly installed Electric Car chargers, advice at the time of booking if you wish to have the use of the onsite EV chargers.
